Midwife and Women’s Health Specialist
As a Certified Nurse-Midwife with experience in both private practice and hospital-based obstetrics, I’ve built my career around providing thoughtful, evidence-based care to women in every stage of life. My work has ranged from long-term, relationship-centered midwifery in the clinic setting to the fast-paced, high-acuity environment of OB hospitalist practice in a Level IV Maternal Care Center. This blend allows me to offer both holistic, personalized support and the clinical expertise needed to navigate complex situations — meeting women where they are and honoring the uniqueness of their health journeys and desires.

-Nurse-Family Partnership
Before becoming a CNM, I spent 10 years working as a Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Lactation, Newborn Care and Home Visitation Nurse in both rural communities and high-volume medical centers across Texas and Hawaii. That experience shaped the foundation of my practice — giving me a deep understanding of perinatal care, family support, and the nuances of birth in diverse environments. From intimate rural units to fast-paced tertiary facilities, I learned to meet families with skill, adaptability, and compassion through every kind of life and birth experience.

Master of Science in Nursing
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where my graduate studies centered on advanced nursing practice, women’s health, and evidence-based clinical decision-making. The program’s academic framework and comprehensive clinical training equipped me with the analytic, diagnostic, and leadership skills essential to advanced practice midwifery. This foundation continues to inform my approach to patient care, clinical excellence, and women’s health across the lifespan.
